November 2026 PAPRS Principles of PR: Getting Back to the Basics

Monday, November 16, 2026 (9:00 AM - 10:30 AM) (EST)

Description

This 1.5-hour course offers an opportunity to build practitioner skills. This session will explore the core principles of psychiatric rehabilitation and the foundational skills that strengthen our work and our personal growth. Together, we will reflect on the values that guide psych rehab—hope, self-determination, person-centered practice, and recovery—and examine how these principles come to life in our daily roles. This interactive session will also focus on the essential skills we build within ourselves, both as professionals and as individuals with lived experience, to support resilience, authentic connection, and meaningful recovery. Participants will leave with renewed inspiration and practical tools to enhance their impact in the communities they serve. This Course is approved for CPRP and CFRP Credits!
