Group Engagement in Psychiatric Rehabilitation equips practitioners with the core principles, evidence-based practices, and practical facilitation strategies needed to design and lead transformative group interventions. Rooted in the philosophy of recovery, empowerment, and community integration, this 3-hour course explores how to harness the power of peer dynamics to help individuals achieve their self-determined life role goals. Participants will learn to move beyond traditional, passive instruction to cultivate interactive, high-engagement environments across different group modalities—including psychoeducational, skills-development, and interpersonal process groups. Special emphasis is placed on establishing psychological safety, managing challenging group behaviors, navigating the stages of group development, and utilizing creative, multi-sensory techniques to promote authentic skill generalization. This Course is approved for CPRP and CFRP Credits!
